DANVERS, Mass. -- Girl Scouts on the North Shore are working to spread holiday cheer to our servicemen and women overseas.

The Scouts have teamed up with Danvers-based "Operation Troop Support” to send last-minute handmade cards and gifts to soldiers spending Christmas away from home. The packages are being flown out to troops in Afghanistan and Iraq.
